Owner Gordon Lawrence founded AC&D in 2015 after more than 20 years in the trades, and the firm now works with designers, contractors and homeowners across the Portland metro and the greater Pacific Northwest.
AC&D is a certified installer for every major luxury appliance brand, including Sub-Zero, Wolf, Miele, Viking, Bosch, BlueStar, Jenn-Air, KitchenAid and GE. Precise installation protects factory warranties and product lifespan, and every appliance install carries a lifetime warranty. The firm belongs to NARI and ORA and keeps long-standing relationships with regional dealers, distributors and manufacturer reps.
Projects follow a four-phase approach: pre-construction planning and drawing review, site visits during cabinet installation to verify utility locations and openings before finish work begins, full installation including major hookups and kitchen integration, and post-install consultation and appliance training. Pre-delivery site inspections catch problems early, when they are still cheap to fix.
Beyond appliances, AC&D designs and builds custom kitchens, bathrooms and whole-home renovations. Recent work includes a 1915 bungalow in SW Portland, an 1890 church converted to a home in Lake Oswego, and a full remodel in West Linn.
